Fancy Pants Members Only

I've lived here in the Bay Area for over 10 years now. I've always aspired to be a member at some of our wonderful arts and cultural organizations. Here are a few I'm interested in now...great gift ideas (mom & dad???).

California Academy of Sciences: It is just the coolest building with coolest exhibits and a great deal on the family membership.

SFMoma: Inspiring every time and they have really cool member events. New Rooftop garden opens May 10.

San Francisco Planning + Urban Research (SPUR): I think it is pretty great to have a voice on how your community is developing. These guys have lots of info on sustainable building locally and also host a great boat party every year. They are opening a cool new space on Mission St. in a few weeks. I'd join if I thought I would be awesome enough to take advantage of it.



Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco: This membership covers both the De Young Museum and the Legion of Honor both of which have great exhibits, fun events and tasty cafeterias.
